The subtle figuring in the overall creamy colour can just about be seen here. These have a little story too. Although I'd been given a diameter, the candles wobbled slightly. so one of the parishoners took a micrometer to both the candles and the holes. I made a pair of plastic collars to make up the difference. (Never trust the dimensions given in catalogues !)
